Create/Edit Cube: Descriptions

An analytic workspace can support the display of object descriptions in multiple languages. This panel shows the names and the descriptive text of the cube and its measures and the languages that the analytic workspace currently supports.

To add descriptions in other languages: 

1. On the Descriptions panel, click Modify Languages and add the language.

   On the Descriptions panel, the field of descriptions now contains a column for the added language.

2. To add a description for the cube or a measure, double-click the appropriate row in the language column and enter the description. For example, if you have added French as a language, and you want to add a description in French for the cube, then in the French column double-click the Description row of the cube and enter a value.

   
   

   Note: Add a description for at least one of the cube objects.

   
   

To remove a language, in the navigation tree right-click the analytic workspace and select Drop Languages. Removing a language removes support for the language from all cubes and cube dimensions in the analytic workspace.
